Wal-mart first began in 1962 with 24 locations with 12.6 million in sales. As of today there are 914 locations across the United States which employ 225 Associates. In 1988 Supercenters were created there are now 2576 Supercenters nation wide which most are open 24hrs that employ about 350 or more associates. I also learned that Wal-mart follows and Ethical Standard Program that exist to strengthen postive labor and enviromental practices in factories.
